Preseason Top 25 College Football Ranking
1. Florida
The Gators finished the 2008Season as a master of consensus, and there is no reason to believe that not to repeat it. This season is like the perfect storm for the Gators, the schedule looks as one of the least difficult country and most of the major players in college football returns for his senior season. There is no substitute Percy Harvin, but Florida can be more balanced this season on offense. Look for TE Aaron Hernandez and WR Riley Cooper arise; They are two talented players to stick to for a numbers game. The defense is downright scary, all 11 starters returning from a major defense in 2008. Not much more is known about the Gators, they are just loaded with talent at every position. But it will come to a player and QB Tim Tebow is the difference between Florida and the other competitors.
Prediction: 13-0, SEC Champion
2. Texas
WhatMr. Tebow funds to the Florida Gators, the same can be said forTexas QB Colt McCoy. Coach Mack Brown and the Longhorns were stored talent over the past four years or so, and the Longhorns will once again invite you again this year. The defense should be improved, especially the front 7 is even with the loss of Roy Miller. The out-of-conference schedule to be easier than last year, and with the exception of the 17 October confrontation with Oklahoma, theLonghorns will be favored in all their games. This is a tough question, Sam Bradford is aoutstanding quarterback, but he is behind the return of only 1 OL starter. But overall, the Sooners return enough talent to run on both sides of the ball to a title in the BCS. Look for the opponents too much pressure on Bradford force, such as Florida's BCS championship game last season until the OL gels. The schedule is a bit harder than the Longhorns' schedule, other than the discussion of Texas at Dallas, the Sooners host BYU and travel in Nebraska and to Miami. "WhitehallGames are certainly winnable, but the Sooners have to do it with their defense, if not the OL come together.

It seems not really matter who is calling the signals for club coach Pete Carroll's who it is very likely the highest recruited QB out of high school, which is Barkley. The Trojans lost a lot of talent from the team last season and will be tested early in Columbus, but lost for every superstar, there is anotherSuperstar-in-waiting for coach Carroll. The games can be seen on the road at Ohio State, Cal, Notre Dame, Oregon and ASU. If the Trojans can survive that schedule undefeated, they would certainly deserve a trip to the BCS championship game. This could probably the toughest schedule in the nation.
Prediction: 10-2, PAC-10 Champion

As with most LSU squad, the defense strong enough to give them a chance in every game. The SEC West is a tight race, and the Tigers will be competitiveEnd.

If a team is a power game that is run, the offensive line the most important unit on the field. Break the Crimson Tide must be made within 3 new starters on the OL this season. The only impact players back on offense is WR Julio Jones, but if the running game is not developing fast, Jones found it difficult to open. The defense is again very good for coachesNick Saban's Tide. Terrance Cody is 365 lb back in the telecom and LB Rolando McClain is a playmaker. 13. Nebraska
You are baaack. At first glance it may seem like an order to achieve the "peelers this high rank, but returned with Coach Bo Pelini in Lincoln, where he once developed a fearsome defense, which shifted the focus from offense. You will still run some Variations of the multi-set, spread offense, but the defense will be formidable under Pelini. The scheduleis somewhat more favorable, the Cornhuskers have to travel to Blacksburg and play Lawrence, the Jayhawks in a game to decide which is probably the Big 12 North. Perhaps surprisingly, Georgia see the place outside the Top 15 Finally, the 2nd is To stop Bulldogs in the SEC East. The problem is, there are 5 conference rooms teams better than the Dawgs and they play 2 of them. Georgia also plays at Oklahoma State and Georgia Tech, both teams should be better than the Bulldogs this year. The Dawgs lost their QB, Matthew Stafford, thethe No. 1 pick in the NFL draft this year. Replace Stafford will be senior Joe Cox. Cox is a big, quick goal in the return of WR AJ Green to have. When coach Mark indicative defense can gel early, the Bulldogs have a chance to be better, but now # 16 seems about right.
Prediction:8-4
17. Florida State
The 'Noles have difficult times in comparison to the high standards they have set for themselves like a decade ago. But in reality most programs, the love for the success of the Seminoles were still to enjoy. The very young team was made 2 years ago has grown up. In the last 3 seasons, no team more freshmen than Seminoles coach Bobby Bowden. QB Christian Ponder played his 2nd do has to have fullSeason behind a line that is now an experienced, solid unit and includes guard Rodney Hudson, who perhaps best in the nation at his position. There are a few playmakers return, especially inexperienced but very talented players to fill Jimbo Fisher's offense. You need to find a replacement for their best weapon in 2008, Lou Groza Award-winning kicker Graham Gano, The defense is very young and will be tested, especiallythe secondary, where 3 starters were lost. The schedule is brutal, must have the "Noles travel BYU, BC, UNC, Clemson, Wake and Florida. FSU is Miami, Georgia Tech and USF in Tallahassee. It is not the type of plan you want to play when you are rebuilding. The Seminoles could very well, but their results do not reflect.
Prediction: 8-5, ACC AtlanticChampions
18. TCU
It seems a little unfair that a team of the 2008 season, finishing at # 7, it starts the season ranked outside the top 15, but the schedule is 2009 is not so favorable for a repeat of 2008, the Horned Frogs' success. In a period of three weeks, TCU must travel to Virginia and Clemson. It will also be for BYU. The "Frogs Utah in a conference showdown in November hosts. Again, Coach Gary PattersonDefense is good enough to win most games and challenge for the Mountain West crown.
Prediction: 9-3, MWC champions

Pittsburgh and Michigan will be the biggest challenge for the roadIrish.
Forecast: 8-4
20. Boise State
After a stellar 12-1 season in 2008, with only a 1-point loss to TCU in Poinsettia Bowl, the Broncos in the BCS party in 2009 to see again to crash. Broncos coach Chris Petersen the opportunity to have a brandDeclaration equal with Oregon coming to Boise. The problem is to make this the only chance for Boise State any kind of statement. The rest of the schedule is not a BCS-record crash again regardless of the recording of the Bronco's. Sophomore QB Kellen Moore, BSU is back, but playmaker will quickly arise when he repeated in the last season. As in 2008, the defense will get thicker. Prediction: 11-1, WAC Champions

Prediction:10-2
22. North Carolina
Butch Davis has been quietly building a contender at Chapel Hill. The initiative took a few hits to graduation, but if QB TJ Yates will remain healthy, he fight for all-ACC honors. The defense looks to be more dominant than in 2008, based on experience. The highly recruited young people have grown quickly and have experience to one of the best defenses in the nation. TheHeels have the usual tough ACC schedule, with Connecticut and ECU as a decent non-conference tests. Prediction: 7-5
23. Iowa

Forecast: 8-4
24. BYU
The Cougars will always find a way to a productive offense to gather. This season may be more challenging than in the past, however, since most of the offensive linemen must be replaced. With 15 starters back, including the CJSpiller RB and WR Jacoby Ford, the Tigers just need a solid QB to them to find the ball. Other than travel to Georgia Tech and Miami, they host FSU and Wake, inConference. A couple of interesting games, the defense CU test may be the 14th November showdown on the NC State and the intrastate annual Grudge Match in South Carolina.
