Six Lessons We Can Learn From Sam Snead

How many of golf's great players, based on Sam Snead swing keys to get to it consistency. As confirmed his membership in Golf Hall of Fame, these swing keys served him well throughout his career. It is interesting that many of them are still used by professionals of today to do the same.

Below are some best swing keys that help you, consistency and knock that golf handicap can be a few notches.

1. Relax Your Hands

Her hands areone of the keys to your swing. If your hands are firm and tense, your body is taut and tense, and you will not be able to swing freely. If your hands are loose, you will not only hit the ball further, but you will swing even smoother than good.

Snead used to the grip of club with the same amount of pressure you would use to a bird just tight enough so that they fly away, but not tight enough to keep it hurts to think. Others thought that holding a tube of toothpaste in his hands, only companiesenough to push a little bit of toothpaste from a tube, but not hard enough to push out too much.

2. First Move Down

Several golfers start button on different things, their swings. Some focus on down) and drag with the left arm (for right-handed. Others focus on turning the front hip in easily. Again, another key to a reduction in the left heel slightly. For Snead, it was all these things. As you can imagine, all at once, while you swing, you choose depending on what motionShe recalled their downward movement.

3. Hit The Dimple

Many of my students ask during the golf lessons, to share what they're looking the ball. Apparently a lot of people also asked Sam the same question when he played on the tour. He had a simple answer. Find a dimple on the ball and try to beat them.

The idea is that the club strikes the rear part of the ball every time. Zero in this particular pit, then putt away. If you hit the pitsSquare your putter is probably moving and right opposite to the direction. They will replace solid contact when you are chopping at the ball or swing up to IT. The aim of the dimples is to improve consistency.

4. The Slice Cure

The disc is probably the biggest swing errors golfers. To heal a bit, check to see that:

• The club begins again in the line

• Your left side is the completion of the turn

• The left arm / hand to dominate theBackswing / downswing

• The attitude is not the same for the intentional slice, hampered a complete cone.

For a quick cure, try the ball on the right side of the fairway. This approach aids in bringing the club into the ball more from inside than outside.

5. Lobbing the Greens

Snead always enjoyed a challenge. And to try a lob shot over a hazard to the green hit is a challenge. Snead 's advice on pitching over a hazard with small greenbetween him and the hole was simple: You want to fly up the shot, and a soft landing that will settle in its title. To execute this shot, you first need the ball with the clubface address more laid back than usual, increasing the attic.

Once you've done that, you take the club again and to break the wrists early in the swing. Strike down through the ball with his hands, by the clubhead with the wrists snapping into the ball. This leads to a high lob that countriesquietly. The whole impetus should comfortably and rhythmically.

6. Swing in "Waltz Time

Each has its own rhythm. Some golfers play at a high tempo. Others play at a leisurely pace. If you had seen Sam play, you would have noticed that he always swung the club slowly and evenly. He called it swinging in waltz time, and his swing key for the leadership of his swing was under control.

Sam liked the story about the time he gave a lesson to players to say whoplayed like he wanted to be a fire. He could not get to the ball quickly enough in seeking to try to drive the ball 400 meters. The Divots father as the balls flew. Fear, the guy could hurt himself, stepped into Sam and the man said to slow down his swing. The next time Sam saw the man, he was amazed. The man had slowed down his swing to waltz time.

Sam Snead was one of the games best players and teachers. Like many golfers, he uses special keys to triggerhis golf swing and consistency. The six we have already discussed one example. By including them in your swing, you'll be well on your way to achieving that single-digit golf handicap, you've always wanted to be.

Golfs Great Competitors - Compared by Groups - Pt 2

Continuing our comparison of the best players and who were their enemies. Jack Nicklaus won 18 majors, but who were his top 3 toughest competitors? Increased 9 Gary Player and Tom Watson had majors 8th Arnold Palmer had only 7 although it seems to us that he had not. Perhaps because he was known as "The King." That gives us 24 majors, that Jack collected top 3rd Not even counting those who are against Jack, who has won less than 7.

Let us now look at the players that Tiger Woods is overwhelmingwin majors and what they did. Ernie Els, Phil Mickelson and VJ Singh have won 3 each major. Let's say winners of majors in only 2 against Tiger Woods. John Daily, Retief Goosen, Jose Maria Olazbal, Lee Jantzen. It accounts for up to 17 majors. Well, if you remember that the duration or years played comes into play, you are right. Jack Nicklaus and his 3 61 years playing in their award-winning span combined. (Winning span does not end until the last big does not mean that it ceased to playTour). Bobby Jones 3 had a span of 57 years. Play Ben Hogan and his opponents had a total of 53 years. Brings us to the current golf phenomenon Tiger Woods. As difficult as it may seem, if the duration of Tiger Woods and his 3 add, you get 58 years! Throw in the rest of those who won per piece 2 majors and you will go far beyond 90 years!

Records and statistics do not lie. I know how amazing is Tiger Woods and because it is easier, the things that comes up, it isJust some great players of that time forgot. Just to give you an example of a player, most probably not leave anything. Bobby Locke, the most talented players from South Africa, which was called, comes to America by Sam Snead, after Snead was so impressed by the then young Locke. Locke Snead played 12 times in 14 games. There were some great players!

Note that this era was during the war years of the 2nd World War II. This lasted for several yearsplay themselves.

Racehorses, according to the company, the race against them, play golf or sports measured differently. I can not deny the records Tiger Woods hangs up, it's sad that there is no better player today that can challenge him. Then we would see how he stacks up in a better competitive position of nature. Tiger lets you record all of Jacks, but I know what a break to go is the fact that Jack had much stiffer competition, as well as others in the past. I hope some ofthe emerging players developing master golf could use another young tiger.

The Greatest Putters in Golf

We all know that is a game set in a game and those that are managed on the black arts Excel typically those that go home with someone money in your pocket

Willie Park Jr famously said that the man who can putt is a game for everyone and in the rarefied atmosphere of the Pro Tours today that is has never been more realistic. The player is the ball so far, with such accuracy that the man who settles the best putt tournaments and championships on the greens. It has always beenbut never more so than today, where everyone, it seems, is a unique ball striker. Moderate players can make a hot strip in which the hole as big as a bucket and have the ball drop with inexorable certainty, but not least, the stripes and the golfer who wants to build a long career, must be consistently able to putt well .

So, here we present the final list of the greatest putter who ever lived, deliberate, with two exceptions. Women are excluded because they did not putt women. And who wields a long putter is excluded because they have already admitted by the enormity of the bag that they are not on the greens are infallible (and because it does not) on a golf application.

25. Billy Casper

In 1959 U.S. Open winner Gary Player once said that, with only a tiny hint of irony: "I'm sorry for Casper, he can not putt a lick. He missed three 30-footers today." Casper Analysis hated his game, and once, when asked about the technology, said:"How does a seagull fly? How does a centipede get all that work legs at once?"
Thanks Billy.

24. Ken Brown

One of the qualities that many people in this list that it moves with a nice, quiet slow - and there never was a slower player than Brown. Best friend Mark James said: "When he was over a putt you never sure would come first to his back or darkness." But the difficulty deliberate method helped sink more than Brownits fair share.

23. Phil Mickelson

One of only two left-handers in the list (along with Bob Charles), he is always good, but often inspired. U.S. Open last year, he and Retief Goosen putted the lights out on some of the toughest, fastest and most restless greens ever produced for a major, and of course at the Masters, he simply looked as if he were, he would hole all knew that he saw . And he did.

22. Nick Faldo

Especially in his younger days, Faldo was remarkably gifted, with the same kind of free-flowing, rhythmical action that marked his long game and he himself said in his autobiography that in those days he did not believe he would never miss. When he rebuilt his swing over two long years he neglected his implementation but then devoted himself so well, with six majors was the result.

21. Lee Trevino

Unorthodox in everything he did, grew up poor, Trevino and his education in golf came in cash equivalent, that he could ill afford, lose and against opponents who do not pay it unwise to - few things are putting a bug in more quickly. In the wake of the Mexican genius developed a solid, consistent, repeatable action that would not work for everyone, but certainly not for him.

20. Jose Maria Olazabal

Ollie's driving issues have an almost perennial part of his career, but yes, God is you, is one of the most effective measures in place in the world. You need just two thingsRight to the hole a putt - the pace and direction - and this man gets a hell of a lot right time.

19. Walter J Travis

Golf writer Charles Price summed up the Australian who played by the turn of the last century with the words: "Travis from such vast distances that his opponents claimed he could putt the eyes out of a squirrel out of holes." He did not play until he was 37 and three years later won the U.S. Amateur.

18. Isao Aoki

Thepopular Japanese player has had arguably one of the most idiosyncratic of all the action, but awkward when it looked like it was in force. He wanted the ball with the putter head of the address pointed to heaven, in a way that you are afraid he would dig his heel into the ground made during the stroke - but he never did. The first Japanese superstar led the way on the greens.

17. Brad Faxon

Some say that if Brad did not putt, he would probably not on tour, but he is blessed with one of thesmooth and effective implementation of strokes have ever seen, and you do not make two Ryder Cup teams on the implementation of its own. He is consistently rated number one by his fellow professionals - of whom most would sacrifice their first born Faxon for a stroke - and she should know.

16. Walter Hagen

The Hague practically in possession of the USPGA Championship as it match play and match play where it is dominating the best putters. This also explains his Ryder Cup record of 9 won 7, halved 1 and lost 1stHe had all the gamesmanship and psychological tricks, but they do not work if you do not recur, and he could.

15. Ernie Els

Despite these two sad missing on the 18th Green in Open last year, has in the course of his career, Ernie has been a textbook putter. His reading of the greens is excellent, but like so many other truly great, is smooth and unhurried, but the acceleration of the rhythm of his stroke, which raises him into the ranks of the best.

14. LorenRoberts

It was Loren Caddy, who has christened it the first time with the dreadful monicker Boss "Moss," but the nickname held more than enough grounding in reality to have. Together with Faxon Crenshaw and consistently has been the man most envied by his colleagues and at least break a putter over his knee too.

13. Hale Irwin

Yes, he is famous missed one-inch putt for a playoff for the Greens, however, that 1976 was the result of carelessness. And yes, with the exception offamous 1990 effort for 72nd Hole of the U.S. Open at Medinah, he is not known for making bombs. But he's done with the help of the master's work - three putting rare, so that anxiety-putts and second punch when he has to do.

12. Paul Runyan

Recalls still on the U.S. tour as the nature of the enemy that everyone hates. He was a small, slender driven man, who was permanently outside of all - often by a wide margin - but up and down better than almostAnyone who has ever lived. Won the USPGA in 1934 and '38, when it was still match play, and if the quality of the opposition was brilliant.

11. Greg Norman

It will be remembered the numerous inventive ways he was just the second in majors but none of them came on the greens, where he was as good as anyone else. He left a 40-footer on the last green to know in the '84 U.S. Open to force a playoff with Fuzzy Zoeller, that he did it, and takes the bottle and technology. And if he was hot,Nobody was able to scorch around a golf course better.

10. Ben Crenshaw

Widely regarded by his peers as the best ever seen her have, Crenshaw smooth, unhurried rhythm of the keys to his success. Tom Kite, Crenshaw grew up in Texas, once said of him: "I do not know, Ben always missing a putt from the time he was 12 until he was 20." He made a point not too many that either. Inevitably, his only two major successes came in Augusta, where implementation is the first game that youneed to bring.

9. Bobby Jones

Be faithful to the master putter, "Calamity Jane" throughout his career, and she remained faithful to him off, making a considerable number of success. Between 1923 and 1930, when he played Jones in 23 of the majors for which he is eligible, and won 13 of them - a strike of 62%, which no other player has come close to matching. And many had to put it down. In most respects he was simply the greatest.

8.Seve Ballesteros

Missing a putt to Seve was a personal insult, and he hated to be hurt. From the beautiful hand-pumps excesses of St Andrews 18th green when he beat Tom Watson in the '84 Open, the miles and miles of putts he holed up in the Ryder Cup to beat the hated Americans, Seve played on the green just as he has all over the place without fear. He was aggressive, courageous and frightened, at the end of his career, never heard of one coming back.

7.Tiger Woods

When Phil Mickelson was in March this year asked the U.S. magazine Golf, he should vote for a five-footer for his life to make, he said: "Tiger, gun, because he made more clutch putts under the" when all I have ever seen have had other than perhaps Nicklaus. He went on to quote the sliding 5-footer against Bob May 2000 at the PGA Championship and the blow he feet in the Presidents Cup in the dark from 15-18. As Phil said: "He's made a lot of 'em." Great putters makeif they are, and it has probably never seen anyone more in tune from the 10-foot and under, when it counts.

6. Jack Nicklaus

His awkward, such as cancer course, bent over the ball, bending the right knee and with his full weight on the left side, never looked like the most aesthetically beautiful thing in the Gulf, but few actions have been effective. His best day came in the '86 Masters, his last major, as he exercised an oversized MacGregor Response putter to devastating effect on thepinch back nine until the green jacket from under the eyes of Seve Ballesteros and Greg Norman, but that only the most recent of numerous memorable day was the short grass for the daddy of them all.

5. Peter Thomson

The Australian Open, the first of five championships, three of them in a row, is probably the most neglected several major champions in golf history. His softly spoken, relaxed attitude of the depth of his stubborn determination to win, and he probably had the disguisedsmooth, and best-looking cherubs of people on this list. It was not quite as effective as some, but was a thing of beauty, and it has done the work.

4. Young Tom Morris

Bob Ferguson, who won the Open three times in a row, "said the man was the first to achieve the feat:" Tom Morris would putt and before the ball was halfway to the hole turn away, say, the boy carried his club: "Select this from the hole, my boy." And that was in the days whenGreen like sheep grazing tracks (which, incidentally, they often were), and clubs were made from the jawbone of an ass. It is important, but do not make the distinction between Tom Morris Jr. and his father, the putt for a tennis ball into the Grand Canyon.

3. Sir Bob Charles

The first left-hander and New Zealander to win the Open (1963), Charles is now 65 and has just announced that next season will be his last as a golf professional, after almost 50 years showhis fellow professionals, as it should be carried out on the greens. So well and consistently remained his putting, he won 23 times on the U.S. Senior (Champions) Tour, at an age when many others are fighting the yips, and he has 70 tournament victories in total. Came first in importance as a 18-year-old amateur prodigy, when he won the NZ Open and he has not stopped winning since.

2. Bobby Locke

The South Africans in all, he was unconventional. He was not even named Robert butwas christened Arthur D'Arcy - Bobby came from his habit of bobbing up and down in his pram. He trusts wore a white cap, shoes and T-shirts (including a tie) and dark trousers, in which he carried his handsome frame down the fairways with such serious elegance, his death would have to be that of a royal ship compared to the Thames. His golf game and out-of-the-ordinary, this was to send each recording at least 40-feet right of target and pulls them back into the game. But it was on the greens, where he broke the hearts of the people and he always held the view that any round of golf was more than 28 putts badly. He won four Opens and when he went to America, they laughed till he won six times in a short time with such dominance that ever-changing Islands U.S. Tour's rules so that he could not go back. One of the Americans, he suggested, Lloyd Mangrum, "said 1982:" The son of a bitch was Locke the hole a putt over 60-feet of peanutbrittle. "

1. Sir Michael Bonallack

Quite simply, in the eyes of many, the former secretary of the R & A is the best putter ever staged. As a lifelong amateur, he was never tested against the best professionals, but many of those who witnessed him in action agreed that he was incomparable. Like so many masters of the green, he remained loyal to a putter and had an idiosyncratic style all his own. Peter Alliss said of him: "Michael Bonallack was a remarkable player. He hada superb short game that all of his own making. If the implementation took a big, wide track with his nose almost sniffing the ball and had a short, jabby swing but all putts went in the hole. "Sir Michael honors in the amateur game are just too many to mention, but also five amateur championships and four British Amateur titles. It said in English Amateur in 1963 at Burnham & Berrow, he up and down, two 22-times agree in 36 holes against Alan Thirwell. Much too modest towith this assessment, he nevertheless was the best.

Definitely not on the list

Ivan Gantz, early U.S. tour pro, for hitting himself in the head when he was famous for a short blow missed, and once even knocked off.

Larry Nelson, who once said with commendable honesty: "I play every year and waited for a week, maybe two, when I putt."

Clayton Heafner, of which each farmer Cary Middlecoff said: "The only time he was able to putt, when he was madenough to hate the ball into the hole. "

If it were lost

Tom Watson, aggressive, fearless in his early days and never minded knocking five yards past because he would always get a return.

Now he is not

Ben Hogan, another fabulous swinger of a golf club in his 50s, but could not putt to save his life.

Tony Jacklin, Lee Trevino never the same after breaking his heart and took off the bag for the machining of '71 Openoverall.

Peter Alliss, Lost it at the Italian Open, when he was in the middle of the round remaining two-footer.

Sam Snead; Rescued for a while by sidesaddle but if that was banned, he was back on the yips.

Honorable Mention

Bernhard Langer, for the yips with, and overcoming three times, which is unique only at the highest level.

It was almost in the Top-25

Arnold Palmer, always wonderfully aggressive, but hisCollection of more than 80 putters show how to fight it sometimes.

Retief Goosen, one of the most consistent Holer-outs in the world, and his two U.S. Open is a measure of its ability.

David Toms to win, and rarely three putts WGC Match Play could only drive it to the next level.

Great potential to join

Paul Casey, Luke Donald, the combination of iron play it and Casey's putting wrapped up last year's World Cup of Golf.

Adam Scott, his best a wonderfulPutter, but not from its best often enough.

Stewart Cink, roll it from anywhere

Mike Weir, won the Masters on the greens, but not really consistent enough.

Sergio García: Currently we worried about his inconsistency, but has the stroke and imagination to a world beater.

2009 Heisman Preview

I have recently published the chances for this year's Heisman Trophy. Many of you know this year's "Big Three" quarterbacks triumvirate, which last year's winner Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford, 2007 winner and Florida Gator Tim Tebow and Texas Star quarterback Colt McCoy has. One of those three will probably win, but what fun at the bets on one of these favorites? With Tebow's favorite at 2-1, and McCoy and Bradford each at 3-1, there is not much potential for cashin.

For my money, I'm going to look at the next group of candidates. My sleep is to get USC all-purpose back Joe McKnight, which reminds me of former winner Reggie Bush. McKnight still flying under the radar despite his great talent. Last year, a bit of a disappointment for McKnight was when he was finished with a mediocre 659 yards on 89 carries and 3 fell touchdowns. He added, 21 catches for 193 yards and a touchdown in the air. Given his talent and the rate of 30-1, he isWorth betting on any event.

Another one of my picks is Ole Miss quarterback Snead Romaniote. These hyped quarterback originally went to Texas, where he refused to first job by Colt McCoy. He then transferred Ole Miss and flourished in the past year down the track under coach Houston Nutt. Snead finished with 2762 yards with 26 touchdowns, 13 interceptions and a 56.3% completion percentage. At 15-1, is another good sleeper snead pluck.

My lastSleeper Pick California running back Jahvid Best is. For those of you who have never heard of this man, be ready to be presented to him this season. The best way is the best athlete in college football and runs the 40 yard dash in the 4.2 range. If Best can improve on last year's figures from 1580 meters to 194 leads with 15 touchdowns, he is doing a serious contender for one of the big three. While not as good chance as my other two thresholds, Best is an excellent pick at10-1.

Wholesale Hats - A Secret Ingredient

Wholesale Hats flow from the retailers in the United States and around the globe. What is so fascinating about wholesale hats, the shares of retail? Why they can pass on to customers, without trying them on, even if it's just for fun?

Wholesale Hats have personality, individuality and character. Yes, but we already know, dass The deeper attraction to identify with heroes. Hats define so many heroes and retailers offer the statement that helps to identify the common personthe heroes in their lives. Before you write this as a plugin for the wholesale hats, read on and see if your heroes are not here.

First there is the cowboy hat. This wholesale hats reach all age groups. The older generation remembers John Wayne, Marshal Matt Dillon, and Captain Gus from Lonesome Dove. Perhaps their interests go deeper on historical figures like Wild Bill Hickok, Wyatt Earp, and Buffalo Bill. The hat that this view is dominated by the creation of John B Stetson, defines the CowboyHats with his original plan that he described as "Boss of the Plains". This broad-brimmed had increased with a high crown replaces the game mixed up wearing cowboy hats and then reached such popularity that made more than two million Stetson hats one years from 1886. This was the cowboy-hat wearing almost all of the above, and the style of her admirers want today.

These are the heroes and cowboy hats, in middle-aged and up, but what about the young? They have a different group of heroes youYou will find on MTV or country music. If J-Lo and Britney Spears appeared in rolled straw cowboy hats anger swept the country for the headgear. Do you believe, straw cowboy hats rolled onto Willy Nelson, and even more power, Kenny Chesney and Jessica Simpson did not contribute more, which bear their fans? Quite the contrary! Country music fans will be in the cowboy hats, well on their idols look big.

What about the golfers? At the beginning of the 20th Century, this sport so fascinating, that the public interestSears & Roebuck catalog had pages of golf hats, which looked like oversized newsboy. For Ben Hogan, it was this or an ivy cap. Sam Snead was a fedora man and the Aussie Greg Norman put on the world map. How many seniors you see on the golf course the hat, who their favorite golfer look good? The connection between the headgear and heroes seems to run so deep it never too big.

The Sports Connection with hats is not over yet. Baseball caps do not needIntroduction. This is the hat that everyone feels comfortable now carry. If every man wore a hat with his suit in the forties and fifties, all-stars like Ted Williams, Stan Musial and Mickey Mantle were looking for good in their ball caps and had a huge following. By the sixties, fedoras were pushed aside and the cool headgear was ball caps. Since then, ball caps do not forget to lick one.

That there are soccer fans. Coach Bear Bryant at Alabama and Tom Landry of the Dallas Cowboysprobably inspired more guys still wear to herringbone or houndstooth fedora than advertising on Madison Avenue.

Next comes the films that follow always a new batch of exploits. Indiana Jones is back in the theaters and even Cracker Barrel restaurants sell adult size Indiana Jones fedoras. And the Great Gatsby? Fans go to the oversized cap ivy. Do not forget, Rocky, in his pork pie. For the women who have Angelina Jolie fans a cloche have after they see The Changeling.Films make a huge impact on hats and fashion in general.

Then there's the vintage crowd and those who wore hats that Mom and Dad or Grandma and Grandpa to remember. This stuff is soaked in a happy childhood memories, so that wholesale revival-hats fedoras for men from their forties or fifties, shelter for women from the same period. What about those old family photos with bells? If someone sees a hat, a bell rings, with childhood memories, comment on them, they have to try it, andoften they have to buy it.

Ok need, children do not know anything about these hats, but they certainly know that celebrities. Think that has no heroes, which satisfy Large-hats? You do not know J-Lo's wide-brimmed hat, Hillary Duff's ivy cap, Britney's Fedora or Brad Pitt's paper boy. Here is a market that has been going wholesale, and, and, like the pink rabbit.

So why do some of the large hats that ship blow to wholesalers, while others hardly sell? Take cowboy hats in 2007.Many wholesalers and retailers sell more cowboy hats in 2007 than all other models. But department stores reported as worst performance in cowboy hats. It comes back to know your market and play to them. You would not expect that the buyer rolled trying to find Yves St Laurent to straw cowboy hats. For the same reason, trendy shops catering to the young waste space ad dress hats. Hats fit on the market and relate to the heroes of the timeGroup.

Somehow, hats, more than any other accessory to help the average person to take on the aura of touch larger than life personalities. Often consciously, sometimes subconsciously, tend to the consumer to the hats, which they identify with their heroes.

Tiger's Win at the Arnold Palmer Invitational

It was a long layoff protection and a long drought, winning for the number of the world is a player. Of course, was that the drought is not a loss of the ability or desire. The knee surgery had dictated that Tiger Woods was lying low for a long time to recover completely.

But after two starts earlier, that the rust was brought on by a lack of tournament competition for the largest part of the year, Tiger, it was back together again with time once won a tournament that he dominated overthe years. He won this event an incredible 6-fold, and with the Cup, its 66th Career win with chalk, a total that the mind is under the state of competition in professional golf will be dizzy. And it puts him in the top echelons of the game's history with only Jack Nicklaus with 73 career victories and Sam Snead, with 82 in front of him.

With 33 years of Tiger Woods has many years of professional golf, apart from him, from injury. And given the nature of theStatistics has consistently accumulated in his fairly short career, it seems that no well-established brand too far away to reach for him. With 14 Grand Slam titles in his pocket, he is only 4 stops behind the record of Jack Nicklaus, the 18 major titles. For any other player, say, "Only 4 would be behind" the border to be humorous. Winning the vast majority of players never 4 Grand Slam titles in her career, but when we talk about Tiger, all bets are off.

Rememberthat he only started in 1997 on tour. This is his twelfth year. That means he averaged 5.5 wins a year and more than 1 major one years in this period. One has to also take into account layoffs to companies in this period for injuries and a couple of big swing changes. Assuming the same numbers in the next 7 years he could in theory stack up about 35 more wins and 7 other majors. This total is breathtaking, true, but it could happen. Also within substantially the bar, we say to an average of 3wins a year and a total of only 5 majors wanted him a total of 87 victories and 19 majors.

Of course, we have to see what happens. But it is fun to be assumed and it is certainly fun, the man who is arguably the best player in the history of the game's magical run to see on the golf course.

One thing is certain: Tiger's win Bay Hill, pushed him back to the top of his profession. Having last year's U.S. Open on what essentially was able to gain a leg, to be sure you driveand determination? His game, a bit wobbly after the long layoff protection, have shown again and again into the groove at Bay Hill. And it will probably only get better.

I felt sorry for Sean O'Hair in this drama, after he was so good before permanent meltdown played Sunday. But he can solace in the fact that he is not the first, the moth under the pressure felt by beating Tiger Woods on the final day.

Once again, the tournament came to a final putt. Once again, Tigerdone. Does anyone seriously doubt that he would not?

Ben Hogan's Secret

All great golfers have a move they believe are the key to their swings. Jack Nicklaus, a great ball striker turns his head slightly to the right just before the start of his takeaway. This move triggers his swing, so he hit the ball powerfully. If you research the issue, as I once had a student do with golf instruction, you will find the same, it is also for Greg Norman, Gary Player, Sam Snead, and even the great Arnold Palmer. They all have a swing secret that keys theirSwings.

Ben Hogan had a swing and mystery. If you asked tour opponents would, they said it was his cupped left wrist, a move Hogan once highlighted in Life Magazine. And for years, that thought was his secret. But while the move was critical to Hogan's swing, it was only part of why he is one of the best ball strikers ever. The other part was his right knee-the correct functioning of which enabled him to hit the ball with force and precision.

Hogan's CuppedWrist

Hogan told to read the Life magazine that was his "secret" cupping his left wrist at the top of his swing, so that his wrist is slightly bent inward at the top of his swing. Hogan became a reality when he emphasizes the cupping of his wrist. But when he later revealed to a friend, it was only a part of history. The other part was the proper functioning of the right knee. The wrist cupped because that is the only position it could assume based on the right sideKnee position.

Hogan braced his right knee before and after eating, so that they are made with perfect balance. He maintained this position from address to the top of the backswing. This movement, which in turn allowed him to put the club at the top of the backswing and control the transition from backswing to downswing while maintaining balance. The right knee may rule from right to left, but it would never straighten completely. If he wanted the ball hit harder, he"ran" his right knee in the direction of the ball.

Are the knees on the ball

What did Hogan mean when he said he drove with his right knee on the ball? On the downswing was Hogan's first step to push the knee inward toward the ball. This step led to the lateral displacement and the opening of the left hip. His only thought at the time, "said Hogan, who was falling on his right knee into the ball, which he described as" running at the ball. " The harder hit wanted to hit the ball, the faster he droveKnee on the ball

If you follow the right knee Hogan could generate terrific speed in his lower body. His right knee, as he explained later, moved so emphatically to the left side of long shots, the knee would sometimes appear to his left knee on the follow-through pass. However, the speed was adjustable. , Putting the knee at different speeds, was Hogan in a position to the amount of energy which he expended through impact monitoring.

Hogan's secret move, however, was only a prelude to the real question:the delivery of the club back to the ball. That was really the main objective as far as Hogan concerned. Why? Because it provides the balance and control he needed to was the type of ball flight to achieve it. And balance and control were a big part of why he won 63 pro tournaments and 9 majors, including the Masters twice.

The Secret of Hogan's mighty swing, then there was the proper functioning of the right leg, with an emphasis on maintaining the correct angle of the right knee onswings back and forth. If a slight cupping of the left wrist, produced in conjunction this step, an optimum balance and control, and allowed him to so much power and speed in order to apply the ball as he wanted.

Most golfers learn the secret of Hogan will probably try to imitate them. But they did not have him, so the chances are good that even if they succeed in copying the move, they do not have the same success he had. So, what is the meaning of this golf tip?

The point is that all good golfers haveSwing key. But the swing key for every golfer is different, as I tell players taking golf lessons from me. What is not for Hogan or Nicklaus, might work for you. If you play better golf and lowering your golf handicap serious about this, then you work to find your swing, which is crucial. And that only comes through playing and practicing.

Golfs Great Competitors - Compared by Groups

When I saw Tiger Woods triumph yet again for his 14th Major, I came away thinking about his competition, or should I say lack of? It is a shame that Tiger does not a better crop of players to test it really. They think that he does have some competition, I will show you that not all players do today compared to what had to contend with Jack Nicklaus and Ben Hogan. First, I want to say without having tons of Tiger is now better than anyone else, but we can say that if the competitionbetter it would definitely have an effect on his game and he would not have won as many majors? This is in the minds of interpretation, but I will point out the biggest difference between what a player had to compete and you can draw your own conclusions.

The easiest way to deny my little test was performed by periods. How many majors were won by players in a given time and who was this time the top players. This will help to see who was the top-hit players.Bobby Jones won 7 majors 1923 to 1930. I will always believe that if Jones did not hang up his spikes, he would record far ahead of Jack Nicklaus. My rationale is, Jones was only 28 years old when retired. He was just hitting his age peak. Nicklaus would win majors at 19 in a 25-year period, then, what would Jones have been able to do with another 17 years?

In Jones' era, there was Harry Vardon, the 7-majors won. Gene Sarazen won 7 and Walter Hagen won 11 majors. Under Bobby JonesTop 3 toughest players, we see a total of 25 majors. Also, remember that Jones won 7 in half of the years, Hagen was winning, 11 titles. Hagen lasted 16 years, but still a great player. Hagen and, of course, Hogan would have made golf clubs for them. Hogan was known as a brilliant club maker.

Ben Hogan won 9 majors from 1946 to 1953. Who will ever know what would have reached the most productive ball striker in the history of the PGA? They were thinking it, his legscrushed and he was told he never walk again! Hogan had some very dangerous opponents, who knew a thing or two about golf. Under the leadership of Sam Snead and Byron Nelson with 7 majors with 5 Nelson would play only 9 years, hit the right is for a farmhouse that was his dream. Bobby Locke won 4 majors and many consider him the greatest putter who ever lived. (Locke coined the phrase. "Drive for show but putt for dough") Here we have a total of 16 majors Verse Ben Hogan.

Caddie - Few People Carry a Heavier Burden Than a Golf Caddie

The golf caddy and are inextricably linked. From an early start as a servant-in-waiting "Partner of the Tour player and confidant, related to the bag has is an integral part of the game.

History teaches us that the derivation of the word can be traced back to the time of Queen Mary of Scotland in 1561. It is a corruption of cadets from the French word ", a young employee, the court on the needs of the royalties waited.'s Return from France on the death of her mother, Mary took a likingto play golf. The young staff carried out their environment, the tasks on the field to those of today.

The history of the Caddy parallels the development of the game. At the beginning of golf clubs were carried in a bundle under his arm. This was a suitable arrangement, as most players use only half a dozen clubs. In the late 19th Century, the golf bag was invented to satisfy a growing number of clubs to be. Golf was a game that only the rich played and bag carriers werebe involved in the working classes in the region. They were often given to drink from the working people and hard life.

Since golf increasingly widespread, there was a growing demand for artisans. Artisans to make their stores and repair the clubs. They also took the hand of the golf balls, which had from 1618 made of hard wood balls developed a leather ball stuffed with goose feathers.

To "featherie was" a time-consuming task, and young assistants were hired to help in the workshop. To supplementtheir salary that accompanies those who could afford the game. They knew how to play more of their customers, and were the original ancestors of today's teaching and touring professionals.

Many of the early superstars of golf started their golfing life as caddies. JH Taylor, part of the Great Triumvirate of golf, which began its work at Westward Ho Golf Club in North Devon at the age of eleven years.

Francis Ouimet lived across the street from The Country Club in Brookline, Massachusetts, wherehe carried the bag for well-heeled members. As a 20-year-old amateur, he famous Harry Vardon and Ted Ray at the U.S. Open in 1913 beating on a course he knew well. Not begin Gene Sarazen, Ben Hogan, Sam Snead and Byron Nelson and many others as a player. For them, the Caddy's Cabin was the way to the professional game.

Unfortunately, the emergence of pull-and-ride's cars on golf carts has stifled the introduction of youth into the game. The opportunity for young children earn up to a certainPocket money in the local golf club is now limited.

Golf clubs in affluent societies the hiring of pull trolleys and golf carts as a way of generating additional resources. Fortunately, it is still possible to play the game will be determined on some courses, as had happened to walk the course with your personal assistant.

The worn phrase "Show up, Shut Up, and Keep up the whole story to tell. It is something like "Caddy error" if the caddy known either byIgnorance of the rules or stupidity cost his players one or two penalty shots.

In the 1950s and 60s in Southern Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe), there was a shortage of experienced assistance for tournament play. The organizers of the event would carry round all the locals willing to participate in a pocket. To avoid problems, which they of course, a local rule that players were not made to be punished for mistakes of their caddies.

On today's tour caddies screw from time to time, and the player mustbear the consequences. These are not simple errors, such as entered on line by another player to lose a headscarf, or forget to pack the waterproofs.

In the modern realm of possibilities for the costly mistakes are endless. The rules are a minefield and vigilant spectators hovering near their phone to report an injury. The role of a simple carrier bag has evolved over time. It's great fun and worthwhile as part of a successful team, but it can also be a heavy burden on theto take when things go terribly wrong.

Traditions of the Masters Tournament

The Masters every year is at the Augusta National Golf Club, one of the most traditional sporting events tied. Dating back to 1934, was originally called the Augusta National Invitation Tournament. The name was changed to "The Masters" five years later - despite the protests of Bobby Jones.

The course

Unlike the other majors, the Masters Course on the same route, an annual event - Augusta National, the creation of the legendary BobbyJones.

After his playing career, Jones started thinking about building a golf course. It was realized, both on the search for a place where he is being bullied without being able to play, and for the opportunity to his vision of the ultimate golf experience.

In 1931, he found an empty plot of land in Augusta, Georgia. He was immediately taken by the possibilities of the former nursery, and put the game's greatest architects, Dr. Alister Mackenzie, to help him with the design. Together, both of these to a course that can be enjoyed by anyone - regardless of design skills - and where on each shot, players will be confronted by a multitude of decisions.

The club was in 1933. A year later, the first Augusta National Invitation Tournament was held.

The Green Jacket

Every year is awarded the winner of the tournament, the Masters green jacket to celebrate his victory.

Members of the private club have worn green jacketsthe tournament since 1937. (Although the original jackets were too hot to bear, too. Purchased) members have their jackets from the Brooks Uniform Company in New York.

The first Green Jacket awarded to a player given to Sam Sneed in 1949. It signified his membership - for a year - in the ultra-exclusive Augusta National Golf Club.

Masters winner must return the jacket to Augusta the following year, where they are stored and made available to the players, when to visit them. Some past winners have like Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer have become actual members of the association may, and probably permanent possession of their jackets.

Since 1954, the club Crystal for various services, such as has small round holes-in-one award, and eagles. Jack Nicklaus's record of 61 pieces Crystal Masters'.

The Champions Dinner

Was officially known as the Masters Club, the tradition of the champions of the Master Foodfounded in 1952 by Ben Hogan.

Each year since then, the recent Masters tournament winner a dinner hosted for the last Champions. The event is usually held on the Tuesday before the tournament. The winner chooses the menu and pays for the food.

The menu is interesting. In 1988, Tiger Woods chose cheeseburgers and milk shakes. Sandy Lyle, on the other side had haggis.

Honorary Starters

The first ball off the tee at the Masters are affectedof "honorary starters, a tradition that began in 1963. The first honorary starters were Jock Hutchison and Fred McLeod - two men with ties to Augusta National.

Hutchison won two Major Championships in his golf career - the PGA in 1920 and in 1921 Open Championship. He was also the first winner of the Senior PGA Championship (1937), which was held in Augusta, he won the event again in 1947. He started until 1973.

McLeod was a founding member of the Senior PGA, the playThe first four Masters. McLeod did not begin until 1976th

Gene Sarazen performed, the tasks from 1981 until his death in 1999. Byron Nelson was in the same period. Sam Snead served from 1984 to 2002.

It was not an honorary starter since the death of Sneed. Augusta is rumored to wait until Arnold Palmer makes himself available.

Pimento cheese sandwiches

What are hot dogs, baseball is the pimento cheese sandwich, whichMasters in Augusta. There are eight kinds of sandwiches sold by the master, but the Pimento Cheese is the one to get. Although the exact recipe is a secret related to the recipe for Coca-Cola, it is of pimento cheese on white bread and lots.

Lifetime exemptions for winners

Bobby Jones thought the master as a gathering of his friends, and extended to a lifetime exemption to the tournament in the past winners. Most of them have stopped playing when they felt that theywere no longer competitive. However, others have to continue playing, even though they really can not play anymore. In 2002, Masters chairman Hootie Johnson shared letters to past masters and asked them to reconsider their participation. This started a firestorm of controversy and resulted in Johnson's waiver request. Players in the past may only begin when they want to play at least 36 holes.

The Crow's Nest

The Crow's Nest is the 1200 squareDome Room in the clubhouse, which is made available for the amateur player in the tournament. The room is in four cabins - shared with three single beds and one with double bed. There is also a sitting area. The amateurs eat in the clubhouse for the week.

Azaleas and Magnolia Lane

August National sits on the site of a former nursery and is filled with azaleas, magnolias, decorated, and a surprising variety of other trees. Azaleas bloom in this part of the countryabout the same time as the tournament.

Magnolia Lane is the 330 meter road leading to the clubhouse that is surrounded by 61 old Magnolia trees.

The Butler Cabin and the Eisenhower Cabin

The Butler Cabin is broadcast by CBS staff used for the interviews and the presentation of the Green Jacket. It was first used in 1965th

The Eisenhower Cabin was built in 1953 for the use of President Eisenhower, so like the club that he visited 45 constructiontimes - twenty-nine during their tenure. He was a member in 1948. The cabin is apparently certified U.S. Secret Service.

There are a total of ten cabins on the site - even if the term "cottage" is used loosely, since they are much better than the average appointment.

The caddies

Until 1983, the players were required to caddies who use the club. Since then, they were allowed to bring their own bag makers - but they must still in the clothesAugust Caddy traditional uniform: white overalls and green hats. Several Augusta caddies have little personalities, especially "Iron Man" Avery, who caddied for Palmer's four Masters victories.

The Three Requirements of Good Golf Pt1

Lesson 1

I think I can best explain the requirements of good golf by the medical history of one of my students, whom I call "DM"
If DM had access to our Bel-Air Golf Club handicap his 10th After three months of play in this challenging course with its narrow fairways, DM handicap went up from 13th This worried him greatly, because he was a certain pride in his game, so he asked me with a comment: "Joe" I think I'll have to take someTeaching. "" Well, "I replied," You do not talk that way about the teachings, I am not selling castor oil on the lesson tee. "

In practice, we take the lesson of tea, I asked DM to a few swings, and then I met him had half a dozen shots.

"What do you think?" asked DM

"Not bad," I replied, "In fact, it is very good: you know exactly what is your first step in your swing?"

"I have answered the club from the start the ball away," DM.

"No, there issomething that you imagine that, "I said.

Finally, after another half-dozen shots, I have DM that his first step, the first move he made after he took office, was at the ball, a penetrating "."

For the unfamiliar with this concept, let me tell you, it is as old as the hills, but accurately describes exactly like any good reliable golfer starts his motion. The forward press is a slight forward motion, bent slightly forward of the right knee. This shoot forwardwith the right knee the player to a "reverse press can do," a reversal of the knee positions, the player can make on his right foot and right leg balance, so that the upturn of the association may, with the right hand side to the body. And I want to say emphatically that if there is a trick, a good golf shot, it is exactly the trick is always on the right leg and right foot in front of the club is picked up on the back swing.
After I showed and provedDM, he did push it forward a little as the first step on his golf swing, I told him never left him any one of its project to the move because he had developed with her the true meaning of the footwork and balance to Put in a - position at the top of the club swing. At this point I would like to emphasize that the proper way to swing a golf club has been controlled with a sense of body work, a sense of the body. This sense of the body to swing a golf club is nothing unusual or secret. The baseAthletics is all that if you throw something, you experience something or want something to punch, in fact, wants to get a time to power in his arms and legs, he does so by integrating them into proper position, his body to use to generate power.

I pointed out, DM, and this combination was the proper footwork for balance and proper action on the basis of power of the body of the game any good golfer, and that, as he had earned that little forward press, she had made it possiblefor him to use his body correctly, and gave him the foundation of a really good game of golf.

After this long dissertation DM said: "That's great, tell me then why I can not play golf."

"You're not able to play good golf, for the simple reason that you do not know how to use your hands," I replied.

"What's wrong with my hands," he said.

"For one thing," I replied, "you have a death grip on the club with his left hand. The handle and the fact that the club increase in the backswingwith the left hand and his left arm, will lead the clubface away from the ball roll on the back swing, and roll away from this action of the association falls into an open position at the top of the swing. From here, move well above the ball so that you can produce high pop-up images, or press the ball to the right, or you cut your bad shots.

"Now, for the same position of the club face open at the top of the swing, you could suddenly start doing the opposite. Instead ofbring the clubhead into the ball with the drawing, cross-cut, lagging measures of the club, suddenly you start lashing out with his right hand on top of the swing. The club, with this "too early to hit 'action of the right hand, thrown out of the impact point. Often this is caused" too early hits "with his right hand, that the clubface to turn over, to be reached on his toes as the ball and a series of shots crowned smothered hook shots or shots that you will lead on the left. "(This is a common mistakefor beginners and is the reason why so many white paint marks on the upper part of the wood clubs.)

So I explained that DM as were his footwork and body work well, this faulty hand-made his shots stray to the right or drop off to the left, in other words, they went anywhere, but in the middle.
"They certainly the nail on the head," said DM "That's exactly my problem. I have no problems they encounter, but I do not know where they go. Whatwe do? "

I then went on DM show that to move after you press the forward, who was his first step he took two to change a reverse-Presse (knee positions and thus) shifting his balance on his right leg and right foot, that he will step three (lifted the club) to the beginning of the swing and then move brought four (the club) in and through the ball.

I told him that the natural movement was shot in a golf and that golf champions such as HarryVar-don, Bobby Jones, Leo Diegel, Jimmy Demaret, Jackie Burke, Paul Runyon, Lawson Little, Byron Nelson, Sam Snead, George Bayer, Mike Souchak, Jay Hebert, and countless others, all had or have one, two, three and four rhythm in their golf swing.
I pointed out, DM, that due to the tight death grip with his left hand, he kept raising the club with his left hand and left arm, throw or roll the club into the open position at the top of the swing.

Try as Imight, I could not seem to get the idea in DM, which was his clubhead on the backswing should be closed. When I asked him to keep the club closed on the backswing, I was only asked him to keep the club square to the line of flight, as he took her back.

Tiger Woods - Why He Dominates Golf

We all enjoy watching Tiger Woods dominate and win tournaments to understand but few golfers Tiger wins why so much. He is obviously very talented, fit and strong, but most people are of what is his greatest asset is not actually aware of, and how it drives him forward. Do you know what is it?

Earl Woods wanted his son better than any other golfer train were trained. He began teaching tiger from a very young age, how to manage his game. He gave him lessons in mental toughnessbe distracted by intentionally during the game, for example, had the golf bag in the middle of a swing. Others make a few hours and mental errors. You'll notice when you see Tiger play, he makes very few mental errors.

Tida Woods also helped her sons grow by showing him how to concentrate deeply and relax on the golf course. This was made possible by their Buddhist faith, she took Tiger when he boy to a Buddhist temple where he prayed with Zen Masterand learned to be put in a super concentrated. Meditation is simply a way of exercising the mind. Anyone can learn to meditate, too. The rewards are: focus on deep learning, stress and relaxation.

These mental lessons from over. Tiger took golf lessons from age 5 to 10 years with Rudy Duran, who give out his classes gave him momentum and psychological education. Duran reinforced what she had learned from his father, Tiger swing with minimal changes. He refers to TigerWoods swing than that of a miniature PGA Pro. Duran taught Tiger to play one shot at a time and forget about the previous shot. He also showed him to use his decision-making skills, by using the right club for the shot.

Tiger had a very intense focus because of what his father taught him to develop, through mental focus on the goal and the focus on his address and attitude. Duran was Tiger more confidence in his ability to score well, which was clear in Tiger, wins 2Under 10 World Junior Championships.

It has become quite clear that Tiger Woods golf mystery to mastery is in fact his opinion. This was also confirmed in an interview a few years ago.

John Anselmo took over and taught Tiger until he 18 years old. His teaching was more reinforcement than what had Tiger by his father and Rudy Duran leaned on the mental side. Anselmo playing a big supporter of the Tigers would not teach lessons on the course upset from a bad shot so that itcould remain in a positive mood for the next shot. He taught Tiger daydreaming make his shot and improve swing. He showed not just look only Tiger on the ball, but rather through the ball to the goal.

Tiger has been shown films Sam Snead, sharpen his representation of the way Snead swung. This enabled him, he saw moving to copy to the film. Other big players, he was asked to see was Bobby Jones, Ben Hogan and SeveBallesteros.

Tiger learned to focus on from the great Bobby Jones on a shot at a time, stabilize, reminding his feelings during the round, and because good shots in his head when he needed them.

You would have thought that Tiger Woods had more than enough training and talent at this time to conquer the world, he was sure, but Dr. Jay Brunza a clinical psychologist and friend of Earl took Tiger to even greater heights. He caddied for Tiger and was his mental trainer during the time Tiger won 3 U.S.Amateur titles. Dr. Brunza used hypnosis to Tiger allows him to enter the concentration zone and to concentrate distractions when it hits.

These years of mental conditioning of a teenage boy has given him power over his own thoughts, especially the ability to get a gift mentality to play, so essential to top-level golf. An invaluable source.

We are all lucky to get such a great player like Tiger and improve it as the perfect role model for our livesand our mental approach to golf.

Protection From the Sun - Golf Hats

Every Sunday you will be more and more people heading to their local golf course in what has become one of the most popular sports to see participate in the world. No longer a game played exclusively by the nouveaux riches, that played great, although it is sometimes frustrating sport, is now by people of all ages and different walks of life.

With countless number of quality of the courses are always around the country each year, and state of the art golf clubs and accessories for thefor the novice or would-be Tiger Woods, golf is now more accessible than ever before. But before you tee with the new driver, or reach for your nine iron, you should take appropriate measures against the deadliest enemy of golfers: the sun.

Remember that you take a round of golf anywhere four can take up to six hours, often played between 10am and 4pm when the sun UV rays are the strongest and thus substantially increase the risk of developing skin cancer.

InIn addition to the liberal dose of sunscreen, which you hopefully forever before tee off, one of the most important preventive measures can you take (and elegant) is the proper hat to wear.

Golf professionals around the world agree that sun hats offer a competitive advantage over players who struggle in the heat without adequate protection from harmful UV rays of the sun. PGA tour pro Briny Abaird often dons a broad-brimmed variety, and offers comprehensive protectionin the face and neck, set him free for more important things, like the next chip drop shot.

Other golf legends as Sam Snead and Greg Norman also wearing a light hat with wide brim, while on the pitch. Greg Norman, grew up in the sun-drenched region of Northern Australia, often the typical surfers wore a straw hat with wide brim, that the entire head, including enclosing the neck. During the game, he was able to maintain a professional mannerHis eyes focused on the ball at all times, from blinding sunlight breaks the plague, many golfers are often shielded.

So what to look for in a golf have ?.... Basically, a hat, which is built a lightweight yet durable weave that provides adequate ventilation. Suede with Cut-away mesh meshed network functions or hats are a prime example.

Choose a hat that will shade the entire head is, and as much as possible to the neck. Wide or medium concern hats toomuch more protection for the face, ears and neck as a common baseball caps, and for those who play often under sunny conditions suitable.

The Secret to Improving Your Golf Scores - Three Basic Elements

As I improve and became a single-digit handicap golfer, I reached a point where it was difficult on the things that continue to find work to lower my handicap. I found the best way to do that by hitting the most important shot in golf, was good. And that's the next shot, that I'm taken. Improve beyond a certain point becomes a question of working on three very basic elements, (1) and continuously re-tuning of the bases (2) toGoals for your game (3) tracking of results, knowledge about what you need to enter practice.

How important is it to concentrate on the basics? My father and I attended a practice at the U.S. Open at the year 1992 and I must say I was absolutely shocked to see the line of pro golfers and one of them propose to 7 iron into the middle of a practice-station setup, teed with iron to see placed on the ground to fight on the proposed ball and aligned with his toe line. BeFather saw him hit and he seemed completely striping the ball, but they were teed 7 iron, for God's sake! He stood like a sore thumb among the other pros. He worked on some of the basics and he did not know what he looked like or what people thought of his efforts to care. If you are quite correct that the golfer Tom Kite was, then you know the rest of the story, as he continued to win the U.S. Open this year at Pebble Beach.

The basics. When professionals have to workand fine-tuning and constantly check their foundations, then I would imagine that it is likely the only thing that should be what the average golfer to (the average golfer is that 15 handicap) does not improve from year to year. I recommend Ben Hogan's Five Lessons: The Modern Fundamentals of Golf as the place to start, revise, check and again at how you practice. While there are other good golf books are, like Johnny Miller, I think it is the golfer's bible. When you clickBalls to the area before or play a round, your goal should be to focus more on the basics correctly and find out how you are striking on that day. Then, when Sam Snead often said, "Dance with the one he has brought what is." If you are fading or slicing the ball or drawing or hooking it possible on the track for recording trend until it does your swing in favor of the normal shot. If you consistently fade the ball, then let it reasonable and objective. They say you should never seek, if a straight shot, you will be injured, but "they" have probably never met a shot that sliced 50 or 60 meters. If you do that you can not.

Setting of targets. The goals that you should play your game is increasingly focusing on the elements, the performance of your notes on the improvement. The basic elements are hitting the ball in the fairway and hit greens in regulation or in a sufficient number of strokes, so you have two putts to hole par. Evenmost pros average under70% in each of these categories, but they are compromising accuracy for distance or position in most cases. Besides, their short games are so good that they are able to get the ball up and down routinely. The worse the golfer or the higher the handicap, the more the focus should be on getting the ball in the fairway. Most times you will find the opposite tendency, that is, the higher handicap is thinking about distance or just attempting to hit the ball, rather than Picking a good target and an objective for the ball to the target in the fairway. In fact, this is a good test, to be put through. Sometime during the next round, step away from the ball and check the following (1) What is your goal? (2), which is the road, rail or air, the ball you planned to go there (3) what is your starting point target number? If you find that you should not not have targets in this direction it surprising that you fail here,Achieve the goal (which have not yet set up). It may be that you discover through this exercise that you yourself for your work-shot routine! It is much easier to play, fairway and you can make a significant improvement in the game by keeping the ball is in play. A big advantage to keep this page has the ball) in the vicinity of the fairway (all things being equal, it helps you avoid that large numbers, which tend to ruin your golf score. Similarly, true greens in regulation to get a productthe ball in a position to reach the green, taking enough club to hit the ball to go the distance to that destination. A golfer looking to improve, should aim to get more than 10 orbits and 10 greens in regulation in each round.

The results of the tracking and practice. I like to hit golf balls and I am always surprised I see the connection between lousy swings and bad practice habits. I'm going to beat about 70 balls in a 125-ball bucket and have yet to touch a wood, but all around me are all the golfersForest, grunting and sweating, to pound the ball out of sight. Good golfers spend most of their time, or at least the same amount of time their practice on the short game. The way to improve your grades, the two shots at three of the ball and starting to make. Tracking your results will give you insight into what you need to practice. For example, good golfers averaged 30 putts a round, or less, and you should be better than you do if you are worse than them in greens in regulation. The more green you miss, the less putts you should if you want to score well. If you missed every green in regulation and two putted each of them the best you could shoot them, is 18 over par! If you are not hit greens in regulation, chances are you are not playing well location data from the Gulf of hitting the ball in the fairway. But it may be that the average approach to the green less than a comfortable distance. It depends on the bandwidth can be practiced. I like the A 5 and A 6 iron with a thesisKnockdown momentum to the ball 175-180 yards or so, depending on the wind, like a distance, the power is with the threshold of a hard shot for me (on the results of my game) is based. They should be a similar distance, or sweet spot definition of your comfort, under which you can feel at ease and help them provide a caution light. Your results will tell you which elements of the work and if it turns out, are (all of them such as fairways, greens, putting,) the short game, then you can plan yourPractice, according to prioritize your efforts.

In previous articles I covered some of these elements and also with the idea of playing golf more strategically, as well as the development of a methodology to track your game. When all is said and done, you improve your golf is consistently on the implementation of the bases, and large numbers to keep your scorecard.

Good Golf!

Open Your Stance When Your Putting Goes Awry

Putting prejudice can come and go. In other articles I have some options on the field for corrections, if your connection is turned off on a particular day addressed. But what if your distance is pretty good, but you can not seem to start the ball on the right line?

Chances are, if your line is missing a logical way or another, you are simply wrong. You can try to make a small adjustment to their correct orientation, but this is very difficult to do the course.

IfYou miss your line on both sides, it is a sign of confusion or lack of commitment. There is nothing you can do, physically at least, committed to more.

When the ball started on line is a problem, you can go to an extreme physical. In other words, something quite different.

If you are on the way you make your putts every which way but into the hole, a drastic step and open your attitude A LOT, say 10 to 15 degrees. This will help you to see theLine a little better.

Sam Snead used to say: "You have to dance with ya brung". But if brung ya dancin is not quite clear why one's toes stepped on? You can bet that Tiger not only resigned to a mediocre day. I'm sure he tried everything and save each a shot.

By placing a substantial change in the orientation of the course, give the dash a whole new feeling. If what you did not work, be something quite different from what the Gulf --Doctor has prescribed.

You can always work on the correction of a small alignment problem on the green after the round, or on the mat at the house. But on the pitch, you need to get the ball into the hole immediately. Sometimes that requires drastic measures.

#4 Texas Longhorns Preview

Fall Camps are underway and the regular season will soon be here, so that means that you an early jump on the 2006 NCAA football season. Knowing the teams now, you save time and author is here to help you get the understanding of what to expect that this coming year. We go from the worst first, 2006 in this College Football Preview.

# 4 - Texas Longhorns 13-0 SU, 11-2 ATS

Remain Fargo's Take When Vince Young decided to order for his senior season, the Longhorns would be easyFavorites to repeat as national champions, while the boy would probably Heisman favorite as well. Instead, to try to Texas and defend their title with a quarterback who never played in a school. Colt McCoy has the name and the raw talent to become a star, but the inexperience is a major concern. What he does is have plenty of playmakers around him, which should ease some of the transition. The defense will also be asked to step things early on, but this is not a problem. TheLonghorns are at least 10 games for five straight seasons, winning is never won such a question. Break through and win the big games was a question before last season, but with the first championship in 36 years in Austin, Texas is now part of the elite category. The timetable will be difficult again, but when McCoy learns quickly, a repeat title is not in question.

Returning starters on offense - 6 McCoy redshirted last season, he has to have a season ofSystem under the belt, is what the deciding factor in winning the job over true freshman Romaniote Snead. Two of the three receivers are back in Billy Pittman and Limas sweed while redshirt freshman Jermichael Finley many heads at tight end. Three starters along the offensive line are back and depth is everywhere so there will be no drop off there. The running game will be just fine, despite the suspension and subsequent transfer of running back Ramonce Taylor. LeadingReturning rusher Jamaal Charles, who gained 878 yards and an amazing 7.4 YPC is only the second year but he is projected as a first team All-Big XII running back. Senior Selvin Young (461, 4.8) has also become a great contribution. Texas finished 1st offense in scoring for, 2 Noise in the offensive, and 3 are not likely to vote on the offensive, and while the overall ranking, this is still considered a very strong offensive.

Returning starters on defense - 7 If for some reason the offensiveStruggles, the defense is more than willing to pick up the slack. The Longhorns finished 8th Defense and scored in the 10th total defense last season and will be even better in 2006. This is the best defense in the conference with tabs and 2 best in the nation, thanks to seven players coming back and depth everywhere on the field. The secondary has two first team All-Big XII player in the corner Tarell Brown and strong safety Michael Griffin, both can be seen on all-American lists. TheHKL also has two first-team all-conference player at defensive end Tim Crowder and defensive tackle Frank Okame. If there is a weakness, it is at linebacker but the speed and depth of this unit successful. Texas is one of the best defensive coordinators in the country with Gene Chizik, who is in his second season after leading Auburn to the top rankings in scoring defense in 2004.

All dates are coming to Texas this season, but the talent, matchingactually win these games is a totally different scenario. The Longhorns started the season with a home defeat of North Texas before hosting revenge-minded Ohio St., which should be compared to the classic that last season. Texas gets a three-game break at Rice, Iowa St. and Sam Houston St., prior to Dallas to take on Red River Shootout rival Oklahoma. The Longhorns should win the remaining games on the slate with a home game against Baylor and finishingGames against Oklahoma St., Kansas St. Texas A & M at home. There are, however, caught two games on the road, Nebraska and Texas Tech, who did not win so easily. Another trip to the Big XII Championship is likely if it is past the Sooners and Red Raiders from getting home away.

You can ... USC was able to repeat, twice actually, so that the Longhorns are quite capable. Young at the top would have a lot of things easier, but this is still one of the most talented teams in theCountry. Texas has won just 20 games, the longest streak in the country and no team wants to tear that more than the Buckeyes, beaten at home last year by the Longhorns in the final seconds. Texas destroyed most of its competition in the last year, led the one on his 11-2 record against the number. The Longhorns are 10-4 favorites is for road construction over the past three years, and if it is available, that if the value is not found, however, a lot. The first road in this season at Rice andnot only to follow Ohio St. sense disappointment, but the home team is 8-2 ATS in the last 10 meetings in this series.

The Best 2009 NCAA Preseason Top 25 Poll

Let's get the party started! As much as preseason polls little more than a basis for the experts say, everyone has one. So introduce my first annual Preseason College Football Poll is. The difference between this survey and others is: I am the only person interviewed in my survey. So, before any games are played, here's the way I see it is ...

Preseason Top 25 College Football Ranking

1. Florida

The Gators finished the 2008Season as a master of consensus, and there is no reason to believe that not to repeat it. This season is like the perfect storm for the Gators, the schedule looks as one of the least difficult country and most of the major players in college football returns for his senior season. There is no substitute Percy Harvin, but Florida can be more balanced this season on offense. Look for TE Aaron Hernandez and WR Riley Cooper arise; They are two talented players to stick to for a numbers game. The defense is downright scary, all 11 starters returning from a major defense in 2008. Not much more is known about the Gators, they are just loaded with talent at every position. But it will come to a player and QB Tim Tebow is the difference between Florida and the other competitors.

Prediction: 13-0, SEC Champion

2. Texas

WhatMr. Tebow funds to the Florida Gators, the same can be said forTexas QB Colt McCoy. Coach Mack Brown and the Longhorns were stored talent over the past four years or so, and the Longhorns will once again invite you again this year. The defense should be improved, especially the front 7 is even with the loss of Roy Miller. The out-of-conference schedule to be easier than last year, and with the exception of the 17 October confrontation with Oklahoma, theLonghorns will be favored in all their games. The Longhorns will play with a big chip on his shoulder after the Big restricted for 12 championship game and a shot at the BCS title game.

Prediction: 13-0, thickness 12 Champion

3. Ohio State

The Buckeyes have an early season showdown at home against USC, and they have to visit Happy Valley in early November for a battle with Penn State too. Other than that, they probably have2 meeting their toughest games in Columbus, with Illinois and Wisconsin. Each team's dual-threat QB Tyrell Pryor is must be good, he is an incredible talent to see and have more weapons.

Prediction: 12-0, Big 10 champion

4. Oklahoma

This is a tough question, Sam Bradford is aoutstanding quarterback, but he is behind the return of only 1 OL starter. But overall, the Sooners return enough talent to run on both sides of the ball to a title in the BCS. Look for the opponents too much pressure on Bradford force, such as Florida's BCS championship game last season until the OL gels. The schedule is a bit harder than the Longhorns' schedule, other than the discussion of Texas at Dallas, the Sooners host BYU and travel in Nebraska and to Miami. "WhitehallGames are certainly winnable, but the Sooners have to do it with their defense, if not the OL come together.

Prediction: 10-2

5. Penn State

Old Joepa has the Nittany Lions right where he wants, a little under the radar, and the preparation for one of the least deterrent timetables for the nation. The Lions host Ohio State in a game that should be forthe Big Ten championship. Other than that, they travel to Illinois and Iowa, but they do not play Wisconsin. It is the experience everywhere and on both sides of the ball. This may be one of those years, the PSU goes undefeated, but victims of their schedule and will be excluded from the BCS championship game.

Prediction: 11-1

6. USC

Okay, may be the Trojans without their expectedQB starts early, and may even go true freshman, Matt Barkley. Have we been here? It seems not really matter who is calling the signals for club coach Pete Carroll's who it is very likely the highest recruited QB out of high school, which is Barkley. The Trojans lost a lot of talent from the team last season and will be tested early in Columbus, but lost for every superstar, there is anotherSuperstar-in-waiting for coach Carroll. The games can be seen on the road at Ohio State, Cal, Notre Dame, Oregon and ASU. If the Trojans can survive that schedule undefeated, they would certainly deserve a trip to the BCS championship game. This could probably the toughest schedule in the nation.

Prediction: 10-2, PAC-10 Champion

7. Virginia Tech

If the ACC has learned nothing since the accession of the HokiesConference is that Frank Beamer's staff is very good. Prepare yourself better than most teams and the recruitment of mid-Atlantic states better than any other school. It is the talent in Blacksburg, and with the rapid Tyrode Taylor is running the offense, they will return to the unpredictability, which was so over the Vick-year widespread. This is Michael, is not Marcus. The schedule to keep them back a bit, as it quite difficult. Apart from the hard shaleACC rivals, the Hokies have a neutral site game with Alabama, and they host a very good Nebraska team to win the seeking retribution from Tech last season in Lincoln.

Prediction: 10-2, ACC Champion

8. Georgia Tech

With 16 starters back, 9 Search on offense, and everybody RB Jonathan Dwyer in the backfield, you give in to the Yellow Jackets once again, fits the rest of the conference. The schedule isfavorable, other than a trip to Tallahassee and the annual Grudge Match with Georgia, the Jackets should be in every other game. Coach Paul Johnson is arguably the best offensive backfield in the nation, which make it easy to run his ball control will be improved, triple option against most teams. When QB Josh Nesbitt can even offer a transfer of risk, the Yellow Jackets to run downhill. Prediction:10-2

9. California

The PAC-Ten last season's bowl proved that it is a conference to be reckoned with. During the regular season was not easy shots to attend the conference if their teams were losing to Mountain West teams. But hey can the Mountain West Conference schools to play football. Cal has a fairly favorable schedule, they travel to Arizona State, Minnesota and Oregon, but the Bears get USC at Berkeley. Coach JeffTedford has one of the most electrifying RBS in the country in Jr. Jahvid Best. The Golden Bears will challenge USC and Oregon for the conference championship.

Prediction: 10-2

10. LSU

If the Peach Bowl last season was a glimpse into the future for the Tigers, they could be a very dangerous team in 2009. CharlesScott rushed for 1174 yards and 18 touchdowns last season, and QB Jordan Jefferson came on strong at the end of the season. As with most LSU squad, the defense strong enough to give them a chance in every game. Nonconference The schedule is their usual number of sacrificial lambs, but the Tigers have to go on the road to play to play, Ole Miss, Georgia and Alabama and Florida hosts. The SEC West is a tight race, and the Tigers will be competitiveEnd.

Forecast: 9-3

11. Ole Miss

The Rebels offense meant only a return of 6 starters, but they will be led by the very talented tandem Romaniote Snead QB and WR Dexter McCluster. Eight starters return from a very good defense last season, including the talented but often injured DL Greg Hardy. Coach Houston Nutt has the timing to his advantageThis season, with Alabama, Arkansas and LSU all coming to Oxford, and they flee, Florida and in Georgia in 2009. In keeping with the tradition of avoiding the SEC nonconference powerhouses, the rebels toughest road test will be in Auburn.

Prediction: 10-3, SEC WestChampion

12. Alabama

If a team is a power game that is run, the offensive line the most important unit on the field. Break the Crimson Tide must be made within 3 new starters on the OL this season. The only impact players back on offense is WR Julio Jones, but if the running game is not developing fast, Jones found it difficult to open. The defense is again very good for coachesNick Saban's Tide. Terrance Cody is 365 lb back in the telecom and LB Rolando McClain is a playmaker. Coach Saban will find out what made his team early, they open against Virginia Tech in a neutral site game. The Tide hosts LSU, but must travel to play Ole Miss, a game that can ultimately decide the SEC West. While the SEC East is a foregone conclusion before the first snap of the season, will give the SEC West College Football Fanseverything they want, and much more.

Forecast: 9-3

13. Nebraska

You are baaack. At first glance it may seem like an order to achieve the "peelers this high rank, but returned with Coach Bo Pelini in Lincoln, where he once developed a fearsome defense, which shifted the focus from offense. You will still run some Variations of the multi-set, spread offense, but the defense will be formidable under Pelini. The scheduleis somewhat more favorable, the Cornhuskers have to travel to Blacksburg and play Lawrence, the Jayhawks in a game to decide which is probably the Big 12 North. You will receive Oklahoma and Texas Tech in Lincoln. zealous college football fans fed for a long time on the day of the corn, mammoth linemen leading the I-backs and the QB option at 15-play drives in Lincoln. Coach Pelini can the "peelers to the glory days back.

Prediction: 10-3, Big 12 NorthChampion

14. Oklahoma State

The Big 12 South will see the most exciting race in college football, in addition to the SEC West, of course. The Cowboys have junior sensation Dec. WR Bryant back on to give QB Zac Robinson .. an easy target to throw to You need to balance a lot of points for a mediocre defense, however. Coach Mike Gundy's Cowboys will be tested early, as theGeorgia Bulldogs travel to Stillwater for the opening weekend. Okie State and Missouri, Texas Tech and Texas and will host Norman will travel for the annual state rivalry game against Oklahoma.

Forecast: 9-3

15. Oregon

Although the Ducks a talented team, the schedule daunting. They open on the road against Boise State. The remaining schedule is Oregon's largestGames in Autzen Stadium and that is good news for new head coach and former offensive coordinator, Chip Kelly, was about Mike Bellotti after Bellotti school after Christ. Kelly goes, will be running more talented QB Jeremiah Masoli Excel option offense. Realistically, the Ducks one years from being a serious contender for the title of the conference, but they give a USC and Cal run this year, and may even subtract one upset against athem.

Forecast: 8-4

16. Georgia

Perhaps surprisingly, Georgia see the place outside the Top 15 Finally, the 2nd is To stop Bulldogs in the SEC East. The problem is, there are 5 conference rooms teams better than the Dawgs and they play 2 of them. Georgia also plays at Oklahoma State and Georgia Tech, both teams should be better than the Bulldogs this year. The Dawgs lost their QB, Matthew Stafford, thethe No. 1 pick in the NFL draft this year. Replace Stafford will be senior Joe Cox. Cox is a big, quick goal in the return of WR AJ Green to have. When coach Mark indicative defense can gel early, the Bulldogs have a chance to be better, but now # 16 seems about right.

Prediction:8-4

17. Florida State

The 'Noles have difficult times in comparison to the high standards they have set for themselves like a decade ago. But in reality most programs, the love for the success of the Seminoles were still to enjoy. The very young team was made 2 years ago has grown up. In the last 3 seasons, no team more freshmen than Seminoles coach Bobby Bowden. QB Christian Ponder played his 2nd do has to have fullSeason behind a line that is now an experienced, solid unit and includes guard Rodney Hudson, who perhaps best in the nation at his position. There are a few playmakers return, especially inexperienced but very talented players to fill Jimbo Fisher's offense. You need to find a replacement for their best weapon in 2008, Lou Groza Award-winning kicker Graham Gano, The defense is very young and will be tested, especiallythe secondary, where 3 starters were lost. The schedule is brutal, must have the "Noles travel BYU, BC, UNC, Clemson, Wake and Florida. FSU is Miami, Georgia Tech and USF in Tallahassee. It is not the type of plan you want to play when you are rebuilding. The Seminoles could very well, but their results do not reflect.

Prediction: 8-5, ACC AtlanticChampions

18. TCU

It seems a little unfair that a team of the 2008 season, finishing at # 7, it starts the season ranked outside the top 15, but the schedule is 2009 is not so favorable for a repeat of 2008, the Horned Frogs' success. In a period of three weeks, TCU must travel to Virginia and Clemson. It will also be for BYU. The "Frogs Utah in a conference showdown in November hosts. Again, Coach Gary PattersonDefense is good enough to win most games and challenge for the Mountain West crown.

Prediction: 9-3, MWC champions

19. Notre Dame

If this is the year, coach Charlie Wiess finally puts it all together? Maybe. There are still too many unknowns with the Irish, but there are many young talents in South Bend. Junior Jimmy Clausen at QB and he will returnhave a great tandem WRs in Golden Tate and Michael Floyd. The Irish operation is no real playmakers on defense, but the secondary should be solid. The schedule is not the usual slate Domer hard fans have become accustomed, but it's no picnic either Nevada Bend, USC, Boston College and Connecticut come to South. Pittsburgh and Michigan will be the biggest challenge for the roadIrish.

Forecast: 8-4

20. Boise State

After a stellar 12-1 season in 2008, with only a 1-point loss to TCU in Poinsettia Bowl, the Broncos in the BCS party in 2009 to see again to crash. Broncos coach Chris Petersen the opportunity to have a brandDeclaration equal with Oregon coming to Boise. The problem is to make this the only chance for Boise State any kind of statement. The rest of the schedule is not a BCS-record crash again regardless of the recording of the Bronco's. Sophomore QB Kellen Moore, BSU is back, but playmaker will quickly arise when he repeated in the last season. As in 2008, the defense will get thicker. The # 3 scoring defense of the nation lost some of the most importantContributors, but should be treated easily in a position to their WAC counterparts.

Prediction: 11-1, WAC Champions

21. Utah

The Utes proved to the nation it deserves to record at least part of the BCS title conversation with their 13-0 thrashing, and SEC runner-up, Alabama in the Sugar Bowl. In 2009, Utah will again be favored to win the Mountain West Conference, but it is not as easy as last season.Coach Kyle Whittingham will have three tough road games at BYU, Oregon and TCU. The Utes get Louisville at home. Otherwise, they should be able to sleepwalk through the rest of their schedule. There is a wealth of material for the return of coach Whittingham to have a successful season, not live but for the Utes look to the high expectations after last season.

Prediction:10-2

22. North Carolina

Butch Davis has been quietly building a contender at Chapel Hill. The initiative took a few hits to graduation, but if QB TJ Yates will remain healthy, he fight for all-ACC honors. The defense looks to be more dominant than in 2008, based on experience. The highly recruited young people have grown quickly and have experience to one of the best defenses in the nation. TheHeels have the usual tough ACC schedule, with Connecticut and ECU as a decent non-conference tests. You must travel to Blacksburg and play the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, while FSU and BC hosts. The Tar Heels are in the ACC Coastal competitive, but in the end, GT and VT are too good toto overcome.

Prediction: 7-5

23. Iowa

The Hawkeyes have a slim chance for the Big Ten title. It is unlikely, but with the return of the offensive line leading what should be a stellarGround attack, they can rely on a slightly less inexperienced defense. Coach Kirk Ferentz, has fresh from signing a big contract extension, his Hawkeyes travel to their three biggest games of the season. You are at Penn State, Ohio State and Wisconsin to go for games that could decide the Big Ten. Iowa could lose those three games, and still have a very good team, one that a frighteningly Bowl match-up could makeanyone.

Forecast: 8-4

24. BYU

The Cougars will always find a way to a productive offense to gather. This season may be more challenging than in the past, however, since most of the offensive linemen must be replaced. The most promising lineman Houston Reynolds recently tore the ACL in his right knee, and will be for the season, depending on theSeverity of the injury. QB Max Hall's lead attack of the Cougars' on offense, which should be on most other positions, despite the good inexperienced line. The defense will be fast to remain sound and should meet at the Cougars keep contending in the pass-happy MWC. The schedule is a challenge, as BYU travels to Norman to take on the Sooners in their opener, and a long-awaited home game, the Cougars host Florida State, two weeks later. In conference, they get both TCU and Utah in Provo.

Forecast: 9-3

The 25th Clemson Tigers have not synonymous with underachievement. For a team that always seems to rake talent in February, the product never seems to measure in November. Perhaps lower expectations will decrease pressure and help to revitalize this once-proud program. Coach Dabo Swinney, the Tigers have certainlyTalent, a dark horse in the ACC Atlantic. With 15 starters back, including the CJSpiller RB and WR Jacoby Ford, the Tigers just need a solid QB to them to find the ball. Barring injuries at LB, the Tigers have a stellar defense, there is talent in every position. The schedule depends on the Clemson schedule typically soft nonconference slate, but they host TCU. Other than travel to Georgia Tech and Miami, they host FSU and Wake, inConference. A couple of interesting games, the defense CU test may be the 14th November showdown on the NC State and the intrastate annual Grudge Match in South Carolina.

Forecast: 9-3

The Best of the Rest: Oregon State, West Virginia, Cincinnati, Kansas, Michigan State, Tulsa, Wisconsin, Illinois, Wake Forest, USF, Boston College, Pitt, Rutgers, ASU, UConn,Miami, Arkansas, ECU, South Carolina, Tennessee, Missouri.
